How Does That Happen Podcast

Feb 1, 2019

Comedian Jim Fleming claims the unofficial, unverifiable record of having the oldest working flip phone of any person his age or younger in the Developed World.

In a disposable society where three-year old phones are considered ancient artifacts and video games are obsolete about 72 after hours after their release, Reno Comedian, Jim Fleming, stands tall as a guardian of technology past. Since 2007, Jim has continued to shun phone upgrades and the Smartphone revolution, opting to keep his Samsung flip phone, despite drawing scorn, ridicule and bemusement. Jim shares his motivation (or lack there of) for his continued reliance and allegiance to a device that can simultaneously survive an atomic blast and subject its user to carpal tunnel just by trying to send a basic text.
